Kettleby Borough Council Public notice
Version 1.3.5
- NewKettleby has a lot more to say: Maureen, Rosa, Jackie, the neighbours and the Red Lion regulars all have plenty of new lines, and nothing comes round again too soon.
- NewPeople round town hear what you’ve been up to and mention it (Maureen first, of course), and the street chat has running jokes that carry on from week to week.
- NewSay hello to people out walking and they’ll say something back. At the Red Lion you can have a word with anyone sat down, get to know the regulars, and join in at a table.
- NewThe neighbours you know get together: a picnic on sunny summer weekends, round the bonfire on fireworks night, and at the Christmas market’s mulled wine cart.
- NewThe streets fill up for the morning rush and empty out through the evening, down to the odd car and walker in the small hours.
- NewNatter holds your messages while you’re at work and catches you up quietly when you clock off.
- NewRed light cameras are on some approaches only (look for the yellow box on a pole), only catch you if you carry on into the junction on red, and the fine’s £20.
- NewThe Council app has a new look: everything for writing to us is in one place, the roadworks board shows what we already know about before you report something, and you can follow us on YouTube and Discord too.
- FixedThe Red Lion, Café Rosa and the Tandoori turn with the camera button, as your home does, and there’s no see-through circle cutting up the tables any more.
- NewOn the bike, the view stays put and the steering turns properly. Settings → Controls has a camera that follows slowly, if you’d rather.
- NewBar shifts: empties come off a table from any side, the glass washer’s easier to reach, and you get the tap you’re facing.
- FixedFixed a signal that could stay red for good if you moved off before the guard’s bell on the train run.
- FixedLiam no longer says you drive the bus when you’ve never worked there, and Maureen no longer says you let her down on a favour you never had.
- FixedFixed bits of code on the station’s departures board, and order and pet bubbles glowing at night.
- NewEveryone in the pub sips in their own time, rather than all at once.
- NewThe frame rate readout says what each number means, and a tap hides it.
